AS-986-6 is concrete precast component release agent for small precast items—kerbs, trench covers, slope blocks, high-speed rail fences, reliefs, planters, hex blocks, Roman columns, retaining walls, etc.

Usage Intructions

Step 1: Clean the mold thoroughly.

Step 2: Mix AS-986-6 at 1 : 8-  12 with tap water (1 dipper agent to 8-  12 dippers water). The golden concentrate turns milky white once diluted; stir well.

Step 3: Fill the diluted mix into a high-pressure spray gun. Set the nozzle to the finest, widest mist  (a slightly tighter spray for irregular molds) and use maximum pressure.

ATTENTION TO  CONSTRUCTION

1.  Hold the spray gun 50-  60 cm from the mold and sweep quickly in a thin, even coat—use only one-third the volume of oil or diesel. It will look and feel like nothing is there within 2-  3 minutes.  DO NOT re-spray; the invisible film is the release barrier.

2.  After the release agent is fully dry, pour the concrete and strip as usual.

Tip: Run a few test cycles on the same mold to fine-tune the spray volume before full production
