AS-986-6 is a specialized mold release agent for plastic molds used in manufacturing concrete products such as artificial stone, gutters, tree grates, lawn tiles, side stones, and other decorative components. It delivers strong demolding performance and excellent surface results.
• Surface Enhancement: Produces smooth, glossy surfaces free of pinholes, bubbles, or stains.
• Material Compatibility: Ideal for use on plastic, steel, aluminum, and wood molds.
• Safe & Eco-Friendly: Non-toxic, odorless, solvent-free, and non-corrosive.
• Low Usage Rate: Coverage rate <3.0g/m², providing cost-effective performance.
• Water & Heat Resistance: Maintains effectiveness in humid or warm environments.
2. Dilution: Mix AS-986-6 with water at a ratio of 1:13 to 1:15. Stir well until fully dissolved. Approximately, 10,000 to 20,000 molds can be produced.
3. Application: Evenly spray the solution onto the mold surface. Let dry before casting concrete. Ensure complete mold coverage.

- AS-986-6 is specifically designed for precast concrete products and is suitable for the production of various precast components, including curbs, drainage channels, fence components, sculptural planters, hexagonal pavers, slope protection blocks, and Roman columns.
- How should the product be diluted for use?
- It is recommended to dilute 1 part of the original solution with 13 to 15 parts of clean water, stir thoroughly and evenly before use. The diluted liquid is milky white. It is recommended to prepare and use it immediately to achieve the best demolding effect.
- How long after spraying can concrete be poured?
- After evenly spraying on the mold surface, it is recommended to wait for the mold release agent to dry naturally for about 2 minutes before pouring the concrete, which can achieve a more ideal demolding effect and surface quality of the product.
- Will its use affect the strength of the concrete or the service life of the mold?
- No. As-986-6 has a minimal impact on the bonding performance of concrete. Meanwhile, it has no corrosive effect on molds such AS steel molds and aluminum molds, and can effectively protect the surface of molds and extend their service life.
