1. Key Function of AS-8613:

As the interfacial tension agent for the EVA matrix, it forms chemical bonds through group reactions with EVA hydroxyl/amino groups, resolving separation issues. This enables more uniform distribution of AS-8613 within the EVA continuous phase, constructing a synergistic network of "elastomer toughening + hard segment reinforcement."

2. Tear Resistance Enhancement Mechanism:

AS-8613's flexible segments absorb tear energy and inhibit crack propagation, while its rigid segment groups enhance interfacial bonding strength. By improving compatibility, tear forces struggle to breach phase interfaces, transforming material failure from "brittle tearing" to "ductile tearing." Tear strength typically increases by 60%–80% (Depending on specific formulation ratios).

3. Auxiliary Performance Optimization:

Simultaneously improves processing flowability to prevent uneven cell formation during EVA foaming. Incorporating AS-8613 also enhances sole rebound rate (≥55%), thereby increasing abrasion resistance (wear volume ≤0.3cm³/1.61km) while balancing thermal shrinkage, tear resistance (dual-function), and practical performance.
